I don't know if I agree that ALL uber rich are that shady. The guy who founded eBay - he was just a programming geek who had no idea his humble and rather simple looking website would make him billions.

Ebay is a terrible company that has disenfranchised thousands of consumers and sellers alike, not to mention many third-part software companies that helped eBay achieve the success that it has. My brother's company, Auctiva, is one of the key players that has allowed large-scale sellers to utilize eBay as a viable front for selling massive amounts of merchandise. You'd think eBay would appreciate the business they've brought in. Nope. Instead, eBay looks at any way it can to cut into Auctiva's profits.

Also, eBay is one of the biggest corporate tax-dodgers. They use all manner of shady accounting tricks to avoid paying taxes.

I'd like to know what the founder is up to these days. Say what you want, but I still don't trust him or any of his ilk. Once you get that type of money, it changes you.

eBay sucks. Especially their support team. They don't even have live support anymore, and you can't really e-mail them either. I know you can, but it's hidden from the public. You have to call them to get any sort of help. The worst part is, they WON'T let you delete your account.

There is no way a company can get that big and not disenfranchise a bunch of people. I cannot think of one big company that doesn't have a bunch of complainers.

You mean the Warren Buffet that obama was using in his jobs speech?
