Any Vegan/Vegetarians Out There?

Wirelessly posted (sent from a smartphone. )

One sentence....yes one. We are ominvores and we eat both plant and animals, we have teeth designed to chew both plant and animals.

Teeth does not really signify what we eat. Its our blood type too.

Yes it does. Go back and watch science. Not all animals have the same type of teeth.

ldnanna, souggy - yes, i tried b complex (spray and pills), and a countless list of other things recommended by other vegans that knows their stuff. Why do you guys think it lasted 8 months? I had problems in the first month... :)

Thanks for the suggestions.

PFH's saying that you cannot judge what animals eat based on their teeth. You'll have to look at species's blood type because it's what metabolizes the food.

Just because my teeth shows that I can eat both animal and plant does not mean I can eat same plant as panda bear. and cow cannot eat corn like me.

Whatever

You should care because of how some disgusting food factories are making our food as cheap as possible and our body is not designed to metabolize it.

example - gluing meat together :ugh:

I'm talking about in general. For example, a hippo cannot eat meat because its how their teeth are designed to eat plants. Altho a bear is mostly a meat eater but will eat plants for survival. I guess blood type also counts too. It depends on the animal tho. I don't think a animal with no teeth can eat plants because they need it to chew plants. Like lizards eat instects whole.

ya. and we're talking in specific.

oh? that's new to me. I'm a bear hugger. Bears are omnivores but their diet is mostly vegetation.

If an animal is mostly meat eater but will eat plants for survival.... that's a carnivore.

Believe it or not - most omnivore's diet is mostly vegetation. That goes for grizzly bears too.

like i said.. teeth does not really signify. I did not say "Teeth type DOES NOT mean anything" It does suggest the animal's diet but to know for a fact - you would need to check the blood.

I will stay out of this thread now. I seriously thought it would be for info regarding likes and dislikes about the food itself and going on those diets or not. I did not know the thread would turn into a debate on the ethics or whatever about the "seamy, disgusting" side of going vegetarian.

I gave up vegetarianism/veganism for the same reason as you did.

That study I linked explained why it's not a good idea to be a vegan; and why some vegetarians are loopy.

Actually, most bears engage in kleptoparasitism.

The bears look like they eat meat because of the claws and their scary teeth. Maybe they eat meat if they wanted to.

why did it not show both sides?

don't you think this video is very one-sided and that it can lead people to assume that most slaughterhouses are like this?

So you think most slaughterhouses are not like that? Why would factory farming be cruel but their slaughterhouses wouldn't be? Even in Food, Inc they've shown that they can only get illegal immigrants or ex-cons to work in the slaughterhouses because they are so horrific that nobody wants to work there.

If you're able to provide proof that most slaughterhouses are not like what was shown in earthlings, then I'll sit up and listen.

Of course earthlings was one-sided, it's showing the side the public never sees, that's the whole point.

i saw that and went WTF.

I saw a video of how chicken nuggets are made and that was one of the most disgusting things I had ever seen in my life. And very shocking to find out they use bleach to kill off all the diseases in the meat first. A lot of it.
