Thought we could have a virtual gathering place to get support in our diets! I would like to lose weight, I just need try!!!

So hi, I'm Sunny :wave: and I would like to lose about 25kg ideally. I will do this by: stopping eating out, doing Zumba twice per week, snacking on vegetables only, and working out 3 days per week on top of Zumba. No more pop!
 
I started my diet and walking program today. Fitness is my goal so I don't have a specific weight loss figure.

All my ancestors are stocky, so that's just genetic. For my diet, I am cutting down on meat and adding more whole grains and vegetables.
 
I'd like be more fit too! I curl and Aquafit in winter but get so out of shape in summer.
 
Well - I have about 80-90 pounds to go. Exercise is not easy given my specific issues, but I am trying. I have no problem with the upper body, but lower body is a problem. I have tried walking and after about 10 minutes, I fall. I cannot handle a bike since I have problems lifting my right leg and foot. Swimming has now been determined to not be a good idea since the 3 different times I have tried, I managed to get stress fractures in my feet.

Primarily, I am working with resistance bands at home. Don't have the money for a gym. I do weight lifting a little with some weights we have here. I have 3, 5 and 10 pound weights. I have resistance bands in 3 strengths and then handled resistance tubing as well. We are ordering me a thing (can't remember exactly what it's called) that sits on the floor and has pedals for feet and hands both. The difference is, you tie a strap to your feet and the momentum will allow the right leg to be lifted and moved. I can push with the right leg, just not lift.

I currently do not eat enough calories in a day. I have to eat dairy free and have just switched to a vegetarian diet except that I will eat fish and shellfish. I drink no soda and love my water.
 
I have problem on issues on suffer frustrated I remember long time I know diet struggle on my health tough I wish be reduce improve health because impossible!

It is nice that everyone seems to have a proper fitness plan. Inspired... eh... maybe. I just could not button my favorite pants today and had to get my big granny pants out to wear.

I will be watching this post for good results!

sure I remember my bio I have proper on fitness :) :lol: I am lots of improve health I am sweetheart handsome,weight loss pretty sound,I try best health!

I have recently changed everything in my life, diet and exercise. Last month I lost 15.4 lbs.... ANyone needs the support I am here for you :)

Thanks, I have a long way to where I want to be and I have a very supportive network of people. Anything I can do to help, Im here. Letting people know my meal plans, exercises. I have a nutritionist at the University so my knowledge is yours :)
 
Ok my diet will need start tomorrow!!!! Today I eat poutine (soooo bad)...
 
I always feel like I could use some help with meal plans, but I have such a varied bit of special diets in this family.

First, we are all going meat-free. Second, I have to be dairy free. Third, hubby is low-sodium. Fourth, mother is high protein. Fifth, daughter will not eat beans or Tofu. Sixth, daughter and son are particular about vegetables. And, finally, seventh, hubby, son and daughter have large appetites.

To top it off, we are very tight finance wise for groceries. This week, I will have $70 to buy groceries for 5 for 3 meals a day. I can't rely on school lunches for the kids as I home school.
