What did you learn today? Part II

I am glad of you welcome back jillo :)

Don't know if my mother is having one of her lucid moments or not since I was driving and we hit some bad traffic. She basically piped up and said that all my memories of my childhood and life before marriage was a lie. She claims that my family all told me what they wanted me to hear and not the truth. Now, how am I supposed to react to that. She is now in tears and my brothers can't be contacted yet and my father is gone. I am heartbroken, but not sure if she is remembering right.

Called my oldest brother. Told him that it wasn't really an emergency, just needed to clarify something regarding mom. He was not upset at the interruption at work. (bad day for him) He asked what kinds of things mom was talking about and I told him what I remembered being told and he says I am right. He does not remember anytime where he, dad and other brother changed facts for he. He thinks mom's dementia is taking another turn. Her blood doctor did mention that she seemed kind of loopy or whatever. I told him this is what I live with daily and he said that even though she has not started Hospice care yet, I still qualify for services if needed. He gave me information for it. He will be my mother's Hospice doctor.

At least I have this whole mess cleared up and I am getting over my hurt feelings. Sorry, this really threw me for a loop.

It is a legal for most nursing homes to give patients some medicines to wipe out their memory because the nurses cannot deal with their complaints. This is very common. My grandmother once was at a nursing home for a temporary, and we found out that she took a Hal pill. We never forgot that she used to complain at the nursing home. We were so angry about it. We will never allow ourselves to go to a nursing home at all - it is so fuck up with the nurses. They don't take too personal about elders as patients.

I am back up save on lucky I am project reason issues on cause conflict to something wrong function I investiage it!

Don't feel bad. When people get senile, their inhibitions go out the window and they will say anything they think.

And it isn't even truths. Their brains wiring is scrambled.

Miss-Delectable,
We have these Dollar Tree stores all over the US. Last year, I bought all of my Christmas wrapping paper there. I almost felt like a thief with 10 rolls of Christmas wrap for $10.

There is a Dollar Tree near where I hope to be moving to soon, so I will see myself shopping there quite often for necessities that doesn't have to be name brand.

I get a lot of stuff from Dollar Tree. A lot of school stuff, coloring books, puzzle books, holiday decorations, son's dragon collection, daughter's collection of horses and even angels for me. We buy the cat toys from there as well. It is a weekly stop for me at times.

I am thinking things like notebooks, pens, paper, crayons, coloring books, etc. can be bought from there. No sense in me spending $6-7 for a notebook at Walmart when I can drive three blocks down and get something similar for $1 that will work just as well.

That's true. I like that store.

It's also a great place to take your kids shopping for Christmas presents if you have a lot of relatives/teachers/friends they want to give gifts to. Remember, it's the thought (of giving a gift...not of giving a cheap gift) that counts.

I am pissed of something ruin my health issues on my health! I think so might!

I learned that many of my coworkers made the mistake of trying to run out of the building during an earthquake. I and a few others stayed inside the room where the meeting was held and were ready to duck down under the meeting table if it happened again.

Watching the news....several structural damages all over Baltimore City. So glad that my house wasnt damaged at all.

I took my great niece there to buy Christmas gifts for family last year. She was so exited about the things she found for everyone.

I thought about you and your family as I have been watching the reports all day. I am so glad to know that you and your family are safe and unharmed.

Thanks..I think there were no injuries or deaths at all up and down the Eastern Shore. If so, that's a miracle!

For humor -

I just heard it wasn't an earthquake, it was our founding fathers rolling over in their graves.
