Ah, my next guess would have been Calaveras county. That's a beautiful area. Very rustic, still the same as it was when the 49ers came in 150 years ago.

Look nice!! I had been going to Ohiopyle whitewater rafting in Pennsylvania with lot of deaf friends long time ago. Class IV - V. I had loved it.
