Navy SEALs may used night vision contact lenses in their raid against Bin Laden.

I wouldn't be surprised. It is pretty expensive technology too.

oh it's about time but I'm not surprised. Military's night vision technology is usually about 15+ years ahead of civilian version. I think it will be another 5-10 years before infantry will start replacing their NVG with it. I've always thought they're now using sunglasses version. cool that it's now contact lens version.

tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk :shakehead: lol

Me neither. I think it is so important for them to keep their technology far ahead of their enemies' like 15-20 years in advance so they would have hard time to catch up on your military's use of advance technology.

damn Chinese

Ha ha... the smallest size of NVG is about the size of Sony Handycam. From what I heard that they are working on reducing the size of sun glasses and attached to the box, same size as iPhone.. that use for recording and sending live video image. Contact lens?? Nah...

where? it was classified.

I know about that. No explained need.

Almost looks like that when they were stand outside of Bin Laden's house (picture) but don't show whole what's happen when they were attacking inside the house. So I noticed everyone wear helmet mounted night vision.

I think that's one we watched that tv.

So, night vision contact lenses was just rumor and it dont mean it's true.

well.....

This video was sent to me by a friend that claims he was part of the mission and part of the drill to hunt and kill Osama Bin Laden.

looks like what we're seeing is a drill, not a mission. so we don't know exactly what technology, equipment, helicopters, etc. they used for mission. it is possible that they had night vision contact lens. who knows.
