oh it's about time but I'm not surprised. Military's night vision technology is usually about 15+ years ahead of civilian version. I think it will be another 5-10 years before infantry will start replacing their NVG with it. I've always thought they're now using sunglasses version. cool that it's now contact lens version.

Me neither. I think it is so important for them to keep their technology far ahead of their enemies' like 15-20 years in advance so they would have hard time to catch up on your military's use of advance technology.

Almost looks like that when they were stand outside of Bin Laden's house (picture) but don't show whole what's happen when they were attacking inside the house. So I noticed everyone wear helmet mounted night vision.
