Cruel to baby for having deaf gay couple

Deaf babies and children are considered "hard to place," so they might have gone to the top of the list as potential adoptive parents. Instead they turned to the "rent a womb" option, which to me is exploitive in cases like this where there is no family or friendship connection with the mother.

Guess it's a done deal now anyway. To me, it was not the most moral way to go about it.

I think this is an unfair comment. You assumed that it would have been easy for them to adopt a baby or have a surrogate baby within the US. I can tell you that this is quite untrue, at least the surrogate baby within the US.

My friend works in an in-vitro clinic. There is an... "unwritten rule" that absolutely NO gay couples are allowed to use their services. They cannot say why but they simply say "We feel that we cannot provide you services", being all PC. Even though I do not have first hand experience with adoption services, how much do you wanna bet that they do the same thing?

I do agree that we need to encourage people to adopt kids within our country, although I do admit, I do want my own child rather than adopt. However, if I cannot have kids, I'll rather adopt then do some in-vitro thing. Dunno if that makes it "better".
 
Quite a few countries don't permit gay couples or individuals to adopt. For a time (and may still be the case), China -- with its millions of baby girl infants abandoned at birth because of gender -- refused adoptions by qualified gay couples and unmarried men and women. In the US, several large religious organization-backed adoption orgs have chosen to shut down entirely rather than comply with anti-discrimination laws and allow gay parents to adopt.
 
it's funny how they refuse to let deaf couples or disabled couples or gay couples adopt when they easily can do themselves on their own but CHOSE to adopt instead.

You right, serious that. Not permit adopt. Why? Because gay parents! That crazy! Parents love and care adopt baby, so why not? It crazy!

Serious your mind, you? I not think so! Soft parents not sex on baby, why worry? Baby not think sex, baby think and know soft love and trust soft parents. That my think. Maybe you agree, maybe not. That okay! :)

lol - if you cannot have kids, then in-vitro thing is useless for you (assuming that it's because your factory is broken)

I initially stopped after the fifth paragraph, but then forced myself to finish it after it sparked FB debates and I wanted to make sure I wasn't misrepresenting the author. Turns out I was, because I had accidentally made him look better in my mind when I stopped reading. It's like watching a train wreck which then falls off a cliff into a valley where there's a nuclear power plant which melts into the core of a planet and causes a chain reaction and turns the entire planet into Alderaan.

I saw all the ignorance and prejudice I could tolerate in the first few paragraphs. I don't think I could tolerate seeing more by reading further.

mom is very soft flexible becase of soft heart! I think Dad is very strict, mom is very not strict different variety of reading! serious!
