Hello!
I hope I get lucky, receiving some help in fixing this problem I'm having with. I have a vp 200, sorenson router, cable modem and wireless router (wireless-n broadband router by Medialink).
A few years ago, with Linksys wireless router (wireless-B i think), I was able to make the connection between the modem, two routers, vp 200 and computer working just fine for over a year. Unfortunately, after we moved to a new home, I couldn't make it work (I sort of forgot which router is the "main" one to get the direct connection from cable modem to WAN port). I thought the Linksys wireless router wasn't working properly anymore so I just used the direct ethernet from Sorenson router to the computer.
Recently, I bought a new wireless-n broadband router and thought it'd make it work again like before. It didn't work at all.
Can you please help me to make all of the mentioned devices to work again in "seamless" connection from cable modem to either one of the routers and 2nd router and vp 200 and computer (direct ethernet connection, not wifi)?
Please provide very simple instructions for me to follow as I'm quite technology idiot.
Thank you very much!

if sorenson sr200 is NOT gigabit network capable, no need for cat 5e cable. cat 5 is good for 10 or 100 mbps which is the max of sr200. many modems are only maxed at 10mbps.
