Yes, that could happen but it does reduce the odds. I also do it to avoid running over sharp objects.the problem is - despite of all cautionary measures we take.... the kid would still dart out from nowhere at anytime![]()
TCS's Jeep has the beeps and the lights. A deaf driver can see the warning lights flash in the rear view mirror but the beeps help the driver know how close the object is (the beeps get faster as the object gets closer).we already have the beeping noise. my parents' car is equipped with that but problem is.... deaf person can't hear it.
we already have red flashing light. it's available in GM models but problem is... red flashing light is in front and drivers have to look at the rear when reversing. also it's easily missed....
The backup object warning lights and beeps. If he's towing a trailer, he can't use the warning system because it would constantly make false warnings. It would sense the trailer as an object in the way.He had to disable what?

There's a button on the dash to turn it off and on. He also has a button on the dash to disable the overdrive of his 5-speed automatic when he's towing a load.Oh yeah, It's make sense to me. What kind disable he did? The fuse/relay? I don't remember to see any button for disable the warning system.
