I don't blame Palin for stepping down because she was being sued with a variety of frivolous lawsuits. She felt she would do better by being the voice for America than to stay as governor of Alaska. And the fact there'd be more financial opportunities by stepping down and get out of the lawsuit rut while as governor.

The simple fact is this: she quit when the heat was turned up. You blast Obama for being sensitive, but he still shows up at the office every day. He is not plugging books and TV shows.

Voice of America? She only speaks for the Conservatives. She has not said anything that would gain much respect from me because she quit her job when it got tough, and turned her attention to making a profit off of her 15 minutes of fame. It is so clear, yet you choose to look at her with rose-colored glasses. If Obama did ANY of these things: quit job, sold books, had reality TV show; you would be foaming at the mouth. Why the double standard? Same as finding humor at Obama taking 12 stitches during a basketball game, then posting a link about Bush falling off a bicycle as if he was a better man for it. Such blatant bias. Palin will never get my vote.

Actually, it was the financial oppportunity to strike it while the iron is hot. And she was right. She also made sure that her predecessor would pretty much follow in her footsteps as the next governor. And the fact that lawsuits were costing her money in the effort to go after her based on frivolous claims, her official day to day duties would've been hampered by all that.

He shows up at office everyday? So? He plays golf, basketball, golf, party, take a trip, golf, go to his office, golf, ride a girly bike, golf, go to his office....(in no particular order).

SWK, lighten up dude. I posted the link about Bush because Obama wasn't the only president who received a sports injury...nothing about being a "better man for it." :roll:

Yup, I agree with you.

I'm not going vote her because of experience, irresponsibility resign from governor and her political views, no respect to GLBT community is one of them.

That why I said most republicans are RINO since they don't meet the original views from Republican Party that supposed to be free enterprise, individual liberties and limited government, also true republican is centrist or progressive.

Having over trillion deficits are nothing and we are going pay off, look at long history of deficit.

No need to lighten up. Your constant bias against Obama needs rebuttal. "Strike while the iron is hot" is a great concept for most people. What about those that voted for her? No point in continuing this "debate" because I can feel the love you have for her. Like a parent that tells their child that his choice for the prom is wrong, I cannot sway you from admiring your crush.

Pay it off? Not at this rate, dude. We alone pay to almost $400 billion year on interest alone and that keeps going up each year. Govt cannot continue to expand and expect to continue with its deficit spending like drunken sailors on a spending spree. It's simply unsustainable. The problem is spending money we don't have.

I doubt that US government will default on loan.
