Who really cares if someone misspoke? It happens all the time. Correcting oneself faster than another; does that make their original statement less wrong? Let us take a stopwatch to the corrections.

All I know, if the next election comes down to Obama vs Palin, we are in serious trouble.

Thank you.

I also happen to agree with Steinhaur regarding N. Korea and GITMO. Obama may have said he was going to close it, but, making a campaign promise to get elected and ACTUALLY SEEING the repercussions of an action are two entirely different things. He may have gone back on his promise, but for once, I'm glad he did. However, I'm not a huge Obama fan, but, neither Palin or Obama is good for this country. We're seeing the results of some of Obama's directives with the TSA crap. Even Bush didn't go that far (or maybe he did with Patriot Act and the electronic survailance.) However, people didn't scream about that. It was more subtle. However, when you randomly select people for invasive scanning and pat downs, people are gonna get upset.

Yeah, Obama... You go... Lets see what happens in the next General election! As I've always said, extremists on either side of the aisle are scary indeed. Would Palin do any better?

I doubt it.

Yes, Palin would do better. Jindal, too. Chris Christie. Mitch Daniel. At every turn Obama has managed to make our country worse off and complains incessantly about being criticized. Thin skin for a prez.

It will be depends on Obama's job performance in other 2 years, if his job performance meets to satisfy the independent voters so most of them, along democrats and some moderate republicans are going vote Obama over Palin. If Obama's job performance is worse so he will face a tough re-election but Obama vs. Palin has drive me to wonders.

Remember in 1996, Clinton won the re-election by landslide while congress were majority republicans so could same happen to Obama as well.

Chris Christie's not running for re-election. guess he can't hack it. :dunno:

no. it's because he ain't doing a good job? :dunno:

Oh really, ouch, I feel bad for New Jerseyans.

I don't think that our new governor is going to do a good job but unfortunately, most people are going vote Bentley again until term limit reached because of his views on social issue.

Yes, Palin would do better.
You offered much criticism of Obama for his lack of experience, yet find Palin an improvement? I think they both are over their heads politically. She chose to step down from her elected position to increase her bank account. Maybe the opportunity to make a fortune, once elected to the WH, would be too much to resist. Imagine the money offered for this! We can see first hand what her priorities are; padding her financial assets.

You would be completely comfortable with Palin as your President? Not me. I smell fear from me, that people are so brainwashed that they might elect a famous face instead of a leader. The implications of making a kneejerk vote should be quite apparent to you, based on 2008 results. We have "The One" in charge, because people were voting for the lesser of two evils. And here we are, with the country still spiraling down the toilet vortex, and here is the great Right Wing hope to save us, a quitter with a TV show and a second book in the works...:ugh:

I truly believe that Palin would be a much more profound advocate for those with disabilities than Obama has ever been. His Freudian slip comment about the special olympics is very telling how he views those with disabilities.

Those who work for his administration have not been enforcing the ADA. Trust me .... I know this for a fact.

She had executive experience; Obama did not.

I don't blame Palin for stepping down because she was being sued with a variety of frivolous lawsuits. She felt she would do better by being the voice for America than to stay as governor of Alaska. And the fact there'd be more financial opportunities by stepping down and get out of the lawsuit rut while as governor.

Palin's family had to spend more than $500000 on legal fees fighting these ethical lawsuits which are partisan in nature, frivolous and politically motivated.
