Sarah Palin is under fire for clubbing a fish to death on her new reality TV show.

The Tea Party darling and her daughter Bristol, 20, were shown on a halibut fishing trip filmed for her new programme, Sarah Palin’s Alaska.

After catching a fish, Sarah is seen beating it with a club and Bristol later holds its still-beating heart in her hand, a sight Sarah called ‘weird’.

A snuff video? Surely you jest? These animal right groups are just plain nuts. The moment that Sarah and Bristol did the clubbing I knew some wacko group will scream something about the killing of halibut fishes. Yeah, I watched that video (2nd part of the 8 part series). It was interesting show. Especially how halibut fish is captured, killed, put on ice, processed and brought to the dinner table. I think the show said some 60 percent of all halibut fishes that go to the United States come from Alaska.
 
Anything animal rights groups produce is intended to show the extreme. Kind of like left and right wingers...

can somebody ask this guy if he has a problem w/ "fish clubbing"?
 
I wish the animal rights advocates would feel as passionate about deaf kids' rights to high quality education and the right to language access. Then we'd be in good shape.

I saw and nothing to against it because they just not want to bruise on the fish meat! :|
