Have a good Sunday....go back to wherever you are doing. :)

Well...try not to expect everything is going to be same every year in the networking. People go in to read everyone's post include yours, and post with their own opinions, some people enjoy your post, some dislike your post and comment with their opinions. So Be It! It is your decision to take it seriously or not. That gal is obviously could not handle alldeaf anymore,.

If you dislike what you see in ad, there's log out button, and it is your own risk to log in to face another people's comments that might hurt you again or big change in alldeaf.

I just woke up and I wish I never woke up. The reality's too cruel

I have an idea of what he speaks of, but, I have to say pretty much just deal with it. If you don't like the people that are here now, you don't have to come onto AD. It's really that simple.

Nobody puts a gun to our heads and tells us WE MUST come to AD.

Personally, I LIKE the people that are here now; minus all the drama. But, there's drama on every forum. When I have my fill of it, I take a break for a day or two. That's what MOST people do instead of whining about the people or how things are. Most forums go through change. This one has, and I must say, for the better!

Seq, you really do need to take a step back and have a look at yourself, maybe? Just a friendly suggestion.

He's complaining about how things are on here now vs how they were a few years ago. Let's just leave it at that.

Ok...wanted to make sure that i was interpreting what the problem was. Didnt want to make any assumptions.

Yea, today's AD is a whole lot different than the AD when I joined in 2006.

For the record: If you have a problem with me, seq, although I have no idea if there is any problem, send me a PM, we can discuss. The PM box is always open.

Yeah, many here and outside (like on email and FB etc) are talking about how much the forum's changed lately. My solution? I started using the ignore feature. Been a member here a good while, and just finally started using that ignore feature. It works for the most part. I can just enjoy what posters I want to read. :)

Change ISN'T a bad thing, though. Everything changes. If things didn't change, none of us would have a chance to grow.

Not really a big deal, people. There is nothing I can do about it and let Alldeaf go wherever they want to....I have no control over that. I just kinda miss the old days but the old days are gone and things have changed. One good example...Most of us talked on Yahoo Messenger and AIM until Facebook and Myspace was invented....they kinda anaboned that and went to that method. I do miss chatting with people on AIM sometimes. It's awfully quiet nowdays. Alex can choose to crash n burn Alldeaf or keep it sane or whatever he wants because he owns this site.

Change has its pros and cons. In this case, I think it is a big plus! :)

I feel the same about my Gallaudet friends. They all moved out of state and I miss our good times going dancing, going to different ethnic restaurants, or just simply strolling in DC. I do miss those days but my life with my husband, son, brother, and his girlfriend is just as good. Both have their pros and cons...

What about finding your old friends on FB and then reconnect via aim?

Yeah...very true. I do reconnect with a few on AIM and some thru Facebook as well. I found a lot of old friends thanks to Facebook. It wouldn't have been done with AIM, firsthand. Change is good in many ways and some other ways not....

You sound awfully bitter.
