You can be old or young to become a king. I suspect he might last for 30 years. He is very active, and probably health nut,too. Unless he falls ill unexpectedly, William might take over temporarily for him.

There are many things about the British monarchy that I disagree politically with, but that is other topic. Of course, my husband is related to them.

it just that most of his family on most men are on short life span. Not matter if healthy or not. There is a way to find a death. just 50-50 chance to live longer.
 
Queen Elizabeth's mother passed away at 102. Her husband is almost 90. So I think it is likely Prince Charles will last until 90s.. or 100s.. Who knows?

Prince Charles can't become King under successful by British Laws because he and late Diana,Princess Of Wales got divorce in 1996.

And Camilla also divorce from her ex-husband that fair what my comment on my post say and chevy agreed!!

Prince William will be good King somedays after his grandma and dad but Kate will become queen somedays I'm hope so

Late HM Queen mother passed away at 101 years old in 2002

Prince Philip near 90 year old on June 10 but he now 89 years old

hard question for me on my answer..

i learn from Prince Charles and Princess Diana's profiles but both not marriages anymores and both no longer as monarchy..

When Prince Charles and Camilla got remarried and both would not allowed have monarchy under by british laws of Royal laws when his mom the Queen passed away..

British people would not allowed have Prince Charles have King but its would be favour Prince William..It's idea from Australia because Prince Charles not want him King its hard!!

And also I thought Will and his girlfriend already got eloped from last Summer. I guess it was a false gossip or wrongly reported after all?

Really? Very interesting. I've never heard of Prince in the very first line of heir is banned to be becoming the King.

There is going to be a show on TV about Prince Charles ,it called something like 'the man who will the next king.' it going to be on channel 7 Dateline.
So it look like he could still become king, not that I really care about it. I blame him for Diana's death in away. He married her when he was in love with Camilla. Diana could still be alive is she never meet Prince Charles !

When late Diana,Princess of Wales got married to Charles in 1981 and Diana DID met Camilla yes!!

No matter but Diana would alives anytimes but she dead in 1997 at ages 36 and Prince Charles raise William and Harry when Diana died..

on taboilds fued Diana been recalled to Camilla all the times for affairs,tapes,etc..But Diana no longer as HRH when she divorces to Charles..
