This is the second time tonight... that someone doesn't know who Norman is.

Do you know him?

Not heard of him, but then I don't like horror films ... oops! :aw:

"Well I'll tell you. When I was little, I had a fight with my mother, so I put some poison in her tea, you know. But I'm all right now.

munch .... munch ....

would like a cheese sandwich?" - Norman Bates

edit: Geez, I really should edit this post before someone thinks "I" poisoned my mom lol!

So you used Wikipedia or a search engine then. Interesting.

I hadn't heard of him, so I voted and then Googled the name. That explained why I hadn't heard of him. Just in case it was someone I knew but not the name. :aw:

You definitely do not want to know Norman Bates. :giggle:

And don't eat or drink anything he offers you :laugh2:

Do you know him?
Of course I do. :) He's a sweet young man who runs a motel with his mother. I've known him for years.

I think it's funny that you would list He's my role model as a choice.

Of course, my mom loves all of the alfred hitchcock movies. One of those movies that my mom gave my name and i love my name. I did not mind if my name was after one of those movies from alfred hitchcok. LOL!

I watched that movie over and over when I was a little. Funny thing i think i didn't watch the whole psycho yet but i did watch most though. I have to watch the hitchcock movies all over again soon!

Never......ever!....take a shower at the Bates Motel!.....he's a "Peeping Tom"!...all the shower curtains at the Motel have holes in 'em!......He's the "Psycho Man"!...

Yes, I've seen Psycho I,II, III, and IV. In my opinion, Psycho IV sucks.

I know who he is, and I ran into him while I was at Universal Studios in California. I caught him with a dead woman, he pulled out a big knife and lunged toward me. Thankfully, I was able to get away without a scratch on me.

Bizarre as it seems, I did a research paper about Hitchcock films when I was in high school. His films were chock full of symbolism and psychological undercurrents.

When I was in elementary school, my mom gave me a big book of solve-them-yourself Hitchcock mysteries for my birthday.

I've been afraid of showers for a long time now.

That is cool, Reba. I have to say that Rebecca is more spooky than Psycho, but that is me. Rebecca is Hitchcock's best work ever. That Mrs. Danvers gave me chills.

I had Encyclopedia Browns books :)
