NPR fires Juan Williams for Muslim remarks

What is the difference between Extremist Muslims and Extremist Christians? The difference would be what they are called. Extremist Muslims are called Extremist Muslims. Extremist Christians are called nutcases. The "Christian" part is not mentioned. They are all Extremists. If Extremist Christians had flown those 9/11 aircraft, would people protest a church being built nearby? Not likely.

What I have learned in my time as a Christian is that people should use their religions to guide them to the Right Way. It is to worship and to pray. To honor God and your fellow man. I would think Muslims are trying to do the same thing. The extremists get all the attention, kind of like Rush Limbaugh or Howard Stern in the media. If they were not making extreme comments and programs, they would fade out of view.

My issue lies with the fact that there are "Christian" groups that use God to somehow guide them to hate, kill, destroy. They are wrong, and the rest of us as Christians condemn them for these beliefs. (Think Aryan Nation, etc)
Yet, when Extremist Muslims commit an act, the entire religion is condemned, as if they all endorse it. I just have a hard time condemning an entire group of people because of a few.

:gpost: I don't care much for nutcases of any stripe.

Sure it was. Research it.

No, you research it and produce proof. "It's a inside job" is nothing more than a bunch of b.s.

I give you a hint to get started. No, wait-- two:

Research CIA's relationship with Afghanistan.
Read up on the Bush family's relations with bin Laden.

And see how far the rabbit's hole goes.
There's a lot more at works than just those two things.

It's nothing new; History Channel Canada has been airring about the CIA's involvement with Soviet-era Afghanistan and Taliban regime alongside documentaries about the Bush-Laden families in memorial for 9/11 for a few years now. So crawl out of the cave, geez.

I don't believe 9/11 was an inside job, but at least know your opponent's sources before accusing him of being a crackpot conspiracy theorist.

SOUGGY....your two source prove MY point.......both talk in gereral about events before WTC and both show that the CIA and Bush were working behind the curtains to prevent any destructive actions.....Bush and the CIA did not know about the planning of WTC.
The whole fault of the CIA not knowing, and they seriously should have, lays at the feet of Clinton, since it was he that seriously cut back the CIA's working for 8 years.

Okay.

So you didn't know the Bush family's oil money was used to fund Osama's actions?

Interesting.

I didn't prove anything. All you did was prove you're not up to date on the whole "why 9/11 happened" scene.

"Very interesting information " can also be said about Santa, the Easter Bunny and a bunch of other b.s. However, if you feel you have proof that "it was an inside proof" post it for all to read.

Oh, my! A challenge has been thrown out!!:laugh2:

Typical conservative tactics. No ability to engage in productive 2 way discussion without resorting to ad hominem attacks and attempts to bully.

Excellent points. And I agree with you completely.

Bingo. Perhaps rolling7 should listen to those younger than he. They seem to have a better grasp of current information.:giggle:

Why do I keep having the theme from Twilight Zone run through my head?

We can't engage in a productive 2 way discussion without you posting your proof!! Rather than get busy...you deflect.

Duh!!! Because you live there!!

No...because I keep reading posts that indicate a total lack of realism. Again, your assumption was completely incorrect. You seem to have a real knack for that.

And did you actually use the phrase "Duh"? Nice way to advance your credibility and demonstrate intelligence.

Nice deflect!!! Now show your credibility and demonstrate your intellegience by posting your proof.
Oh, that's right, y6ou don't have any realist proof.....sorry I forgot.

Oh, my! We have a conservative throwing out challenges instead of being able to support their points logically and cohesively. Go figure!:giggle:
