Fastest you've gone on a bicycle/motorcycle?

There are Scooter (like moped on a steroid) can do 85mph or up, It's have fatter tires and bigger body. Scooter required motorcycle license while Moped don't. DL place would not allow you to take riding test on scooter just for motorcycle license. That's so odd!!

Mountain bike brake went red hot :rofl: That reminded my brother coasting down long steep hill at MT Baker park and at the bottom of hill, his brake was smoking :rofl:

I find that ironic about Scooter not allowed for drivers test. :laugh2:

I would love to ride mountain bikes again going downhill and also go on easy trails as well. I haven't done it in years.
 
Never had any hills for my bike. Florida is too flat. Absolutely refuse to get on a motorcycle.

By the time I got to Missouri, I was married had my two kids and had problems walking. I gave up riding a bike in my early 20's. Not having the use of 1 leg made it very hard. Now, I have lost the use of both legs.

Plenty of em' So does Kansas, mostly in Rural areas.. There are well known "Hill Jumping" that Kids drive pickup truck and friends in back of truck, when they drive down the hill fast and once go up the hill, friends flies up holding the rope or rollbar which are big adrenaline rush. Many kids got killed by it if they missed the truck bed. I've never tried that but knew it's very dangerous. Commonly Highschool kids do that.

I went so fast on a motorcycle, I went forward in time. Seriously, I am from the 80's.

I met myself and ....... dude ..... I look old now! :eek3: My future self is teaching me about forums, cell phones, (and your satellite dishes are so much smaller now! Wow!).

And these little tiny things everyone wears is a friggin PHONE!! OMG!!
 
The fastest I've ever been on a Beach Cruiser was...I'd guess at 100mph!...2 Dogs were chasing me! HAHA

42 mph on my mountain bike down a good hill north of Ellensburg, Washington a couple of summers ago.

I tend to avoid that kind of thing because my eyes aren't what they once were and a fall would not be inconsequential.
 
What can I say? I like speed? If I had the money and parts and a mechanic and time... I'd be trying to hack it with the AMA superbikes.
