It's a history question, when was the last time in a Republican controlled Congress that saw unemployment rate go over 9%?

If you don't know, then say it. No shame in admitting that.

I heard on the news once all troops are back from the war they'll need jobs too and this could made it jump to 12%!

Exactly...... Many were reserves or have served their commitment. Think of all the layoffs at military suppliers too. :shock:

Not surprised, and thank god I never liked and never vote for Obama!

It appears that Obama is handling worse than Bush. What I heard is that Obama isnt interesting in saving Bush tax cuts.

I hope these congress is waking up and doing something, otherwise havoc is waiting to happen, Just think this way, new Obamacare which could cost even more at same time taxes goes higher... bad combination! and this is perfect recipe for economy disaster.

Waking up? It's too late to "wake up" for them. We are now less than 2 months away from November 2 election.

A bunch of miserable failures they are.

NO, NO ,NO please do not say that! California wanted to put a ban on plastic grocery bags ,but this was block as the companies the made bag said a lot of people would lose their jobs. So California will have to keep spending bring all the bags to landfills!

My dad made a lot of money during WW2 selling buckles to the goverment .
There has to be a better way to made money than having a war!

Part of any good exit strategy would have been how to end the war and bring the troops home without hurting our dicey economy. But again.....obama has policies not strategies
