Cant afford it right now...bills, taxes, childcare, lawyer fees, student loans and etc etc....


Besides, I am SOOOO far away from making $158K anyway.

You're in that tax bracket (25% or $68,000 to $137,300 for married couples) and in 120 days from now you'll see a 3% jump. You can thank Obama for not raising your taxes if you make less than $250,000 a year.

My salary is being reduced every year so that 3% increase is not gonna happen for me anytime soon.

If your combined income (for married couple) is between $68,000 and $137,300, you and your husband fall into the 25% tax bracket which will go up to 28% in 120 days from now.

No doubt.....and just wait til they get to College. My one daughter in college is running me close to $70,000 a year when all of her living expenses are added in.
 
I understand about 2011 tax bracket (pre-2001) will be effective after Bush tax cut expire if congress don't take action to change in tax bracket or expand the Bush tax cut.

Too early to say about Obama broke his promise about no tax increase for families with less than $250,00 because congress haven't take action yet, but they should do as soon as possible.

Seriously, I'm go for keep Bush tax cut.
 
Just a tip to anyone with stock who made gains this year. If the cuts are repealed.....sell quickly.

I don't do too much of stock market anymore. Tax liens is where it is at! Have a whole two months of shopping for tax liens to do the upcoming few months :D
