REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Rehoboth Beach in Delaware isn't a topless beach — but a few transgender men caused a stir by treating it like one. Police say passers-by complained after the men removed their tops and revealed their surgically enhanced breasts over Memorial Day weekend. A lifeguard asked them to put their tops back on. The men initially refused, but covered up before police arrived.

Even if they hadn't, though, Police Chief Keith Banks notes the men were doing nothing illegal. Since they have male genitalia, they can't be charged with indecent exposure for showing their breasts. Banks says there's no need for a specific law to address the issue.

Rehoboth Beach commissioner Kathy McGuiness isn't so sure. She says the matter will be discussed at a town hall meeting next week.

If the transgender guys are presenting themselves as women every where other than the beach, then they should follow the rules for women while at the beach also. They can't have it both ways just for their own convenience.

Exactly. And when they do crap like this, they strike a blow to the movement for g/l/t rights.

good point! And here is another one...are they allow to use the ladies room? That should be the test for the police. If these guys are using the ladies room then follow the law accordingly because these guys can go back-and-forth to suit themselves.

Agreed!...What a mess, a tity-twisting twist along with them pissing on the toilet seat if they use the ladies rooms....jeez....which toilet are they gonna use?....It's really confusing to me!....Having transgender bathrooms would solve it I guess....
 
I saw a transgender guy in Marshall's the other day , and I was thinking what if he wanted to try something on or go to the bathroom !
My parents were in Boston years ago and got hungry and decided to try a new place! They were giving their order to a waiter and , ask him "why is a guy was wearing a black dress with pearls ?" and the waiter said " what else would you wear with a black dress!" My parents had no idea they were in a gay place!!

That's the problem - it said, "transgendered MEN", not women. Transgendered transcends the gender roles. They do NOT conform to binary female-male roles.

Hence opening a new can of worms.
 
Wow..that does make things complicated. In my opinion, they should have left their tops on out of respect for others.
