I would certainly agree that a massive oil spill would cause more ecological damage than a hurricane; after all, a hurricane is weather. Certainly a solid statement here. No argument from me.![]()
Good. Also, people sometimes don't realize the fact that Hurricane Katrina also damaged local oil pipelines, tanks, refineries, etc in that caused a leak of at least 8 millon gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico and coastal waterways and marshes.
