otherwise what much can this thread go?
The reason I asked is ... You're sitting on a bunch of gold.
You could find pieces of gold in sizes like I just showed you and earn another trip to the USA. Gold prices is just ridiculous right now.
I was thinking of going to Australia just to detect for gold. (Metal Detector.)
Canberra is pretty decent, there are other places to the south and southwest of you, near lake eyre (?? spelling) that has rich deposits of gold. I've seen huge chunks of nuggets from the area, it was unbelievable.

Try your luck in Ballarat, Victoria about an hour north outside of Melbourne. The reason I asked is ... You're sitting on a bunch of gold.

I don't believe you, source please?Australian gold isn't worth much compared to B.C. gold because of impurity.![]()
I was only a kid, so I knew nothing.I found $20 worth of gold once while panning in the Kootenays as a nugget. Wasn't really big. Maybe the size of a Basmati rice grain?
And a bunch of flakes that would fest a few dollars or so combined.

You couldn't be much more wrong than that, FYI.
I've seen first hand Australian gold nuggets and my god they do look pure.

The largest gold nugget ever found was the Welcome Stranger, found at Moliagul, Victoria, Australia in 1869 by John Deason and Richard Oates. It weighed gross, over 2,520 troy ounces (78.38 kg) and returned over 2,284 troy ounces(71.04 kg) net.[2] The largest gold nugget found by a metal detector is the Hand of Faith, found in 1980, at Kingower, Victoria, Australia. The largest gold nugget ever found was the Welcome Stranger, found at Moliagul, Victoria, Australia in 1869 by John Deason and Richard Oates.
