no it was down since morning. Thanks to Alex for fixing it and its up again. :D
 
I couldn't get to the site for several hours as the browser kept timing out.
 
I alerted Jiro and he called Alex. Jiro is my best bud!! I was having AD withdrawals!!
 
ATTENTION ADERS! *flickering light*

I wasn't aware of this outage until way later but when I woke up, several of you brought this to my attention, hoping for some answer. I do not mind this and I do my best to keep ya'all informed but ya'all should keep in mind that AD site does go down sometimes. It's a typical technical problem that all websites experience all the time especially when the websites have a very large number of members but the difference is - most of popular websites are monitored by 24/7 professionals and they have a nice cushy budget. That's why the websites can be restored very quickly.

AD is 100% free for ya'all and it is maintained by only one man.... Alex. and yes Alex is aware of AD being unstable lately. He's doing his damnest to fix it. :)

I'm pretty sure the mods have notified Alex way way before me. I don't have a red emergency phone to him like a mayor to Batman :lol:

I wasn't PO'd. I was just major "eh-ing" because you have been affected, you had the same experience, and to bottom it all with you even verified my statements with something in another country not related to what I was talking about but proves the same pattern - that you actually told me to pipe down because it was all hearsay.

Well, grats on helping out making our community better. That kind of stuff makes me sick.
