So I have GREAT news and CRAPPY news lol

So GREAT news is I got a job offer for a Calvin Klein modeling job in Toronto for one night that pays $300 including hair and make-up which is FANTASTIC AND SO TOTALLY AWESOME.....

Bad news is ...It's the same week I am going to Atlanta, GA for a cheerleading comp so I won't be able to do it. Which totally stinks...

But I told them If they have any future jobs to please contact me and hopefully I will be available to work it! :)
 
Hmmm. That sucks.

I'd totally take the gig now because you will have much more exposure, resulting in more gigs.
 
That's really a bummer. I hope they will having something for you at a later date.
 
Maybe turning down that gig will be a blessing in disguise. Cuz maybe those people will think you're so highly in demand and work harder to land you. :lol:

P.s. Now remember, when they call, just say you need to check your calendar. Lol
 
shoulda go for CK.... I understand that you don't wanna look like you backstabbed them by skipping out on your cheerleader team but they would understand this is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you may never get it again.
 
Ya this is a once in a year thing that we go to and if I don't go I am letting my team down because I am a main part of the routine and I leave tuesday..lol its not like its weeks or months away its days away...or i totally would tell the team sorry I can't and I'd take the job! Oh well I've got noticed so hopefully they still want me for jobs in the future!
 
This sort of thing happen to my cousin. When opportunity like this come knocking on the door, it's always a bad timing and he miss his opportunity. He had a chance to do a movie role (background role) and it was too last because he was staying with his dad at the time.
 
If it was anything else like a practice or something or anything else I could reallyyyyyy get out of I would.But there is no way I can miss going to atlanta with my team to compete at the BIGGEST nationals in the united states....

ya...plus i've been doing cheer since I was 10 so it's something I am dedicated to ...ah well hopefully next time:)
 
CK???!!! That's a great opportunity!!! I am sure your cheer team will understand if you back out ?
 
Ya I did turn it down I said I was sorry that I couldn't do it and no its nationals in atlanta and its the biggest competition in the u.s. besides worlds so it's kind of a big deal...which also calvin klein is too but hopefully I get another opportunity if not I can always keep trying and hoping:) but my nationals is a huge deal to our team and I don't want to disappoint them either ...

I feel you. Im glad you keep stick to your cheer for the nationals. sports are kind of important to me if i were on teams. I know you will get the new door to open in a right time.
