Post something that you reallllly love about your hometown...

I love so MANY things about my hometown of Boulder, Colorado.
I'll post one of them.

Illegal Pete's workers... I get my bestest burritos there. It's no wonder why I keep coming back.
 
Baltimore Inner Harbor..during nice days, it is a great place to take a good stroll and on warm nights, there are different outdoor bars/restaurants where one can enjoy drinks and food while enjoying the view of the Chesapeake Bay or people watch.

Played a tourney in Baltimore several years ago. Really nice place. The baseball stadium was worth the trip alone.


PFH- Judging from that picture I need to get to Boulder soon. When in DFW I highly recommend Fuzzy's Tacos. The shrimp tempura burrito rocks!
 
My birthplace

I was born in PHx, AZ. Not much that I miss about it except for the authenic Mexican foods and the georgous sunsets.

Not much to like here I am affraid. No mountains, no oceans Just alot of people. Fuzzy's Tacos is great though.


I sat here for ten minutes after writing the above and still can't think of anything I like here except for one great mall. :lol:

It really is time to move. People are really friendly here and the cost of living is really cheap and usually the winters are pretty mild. That's probably why most people stay.

BTW Arlington is in the middle of Dallas/Fort Worth. Roughly 15 miles from each. We do have Six Flags, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Rangers Baseball and Cowboy Football. We were also named fast food capital of the world by somebody......I think it was "Men's Fitness"

And I hear Austin's one of the top cities to live and play in. I once listened to a deaf businessman rant on for a half hour every reason why its a good place to live in.

Austin is a different story. Cool college town, Great areas, Sixth Street and a nude beach (on a lake). It's also hilly and more scenic (not just the nude beach) It's a neat place but it's not for everyone.

Me either, although I enjoy visiting. Surprised you wouldn't like it. Although I haven't actually been to Boulder, what I have heard sounds quite similar.....except the Hills are much bigger.
 
My real hometown (where I was born and spent some of my childhood) was in Southeastern Connecticut. My family has lived in that area since early 1600's. I'm proud of its historical significance, and I enjoy its natural beauty and quaint villages. I really enjoy the coastal area there. I love eating New England lobster and "chow-duh".

My "adopted" hometown is the Charleston, SC, area. We've lived here since 1978. It too, has historical significance, quaint areas, and beautiful natural areas. I enjoy visiting the plantations, parks, Aquarium, historical sites, and beaches. I love eating Lowcountry shrimp (like Forrest Gump said, cooked many, MANY ways).

I love Charleston and all of South Carolina. I am there almost every April.
 
After further review. Thanks in part to some here, I now realize TX may be they best place in the country.....especially if you are deaf.
