Hello iPhone users - I have a minor issue with my iphone but I am not fully concerned about it though. My iPhone is set to vibration only, which is the silent mode, but whenever I walk or sit, or even touch the phone near the button - the phone vibrates with no reason even there was no notification SMS message at all.

When I normally touch the button, it vibrates too - it was not supposed to do that, only to push sideways if you want to toggle the silent on or off. But still vibrates whenever it is on.

Do you think this is an defect issue?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

Really. Did you feel vibrating in using instant messaging. If not working, you will go to Apple store in Sydney. May exchange new one.

It has nothing to do with instant messaging, I never use IM on my iPhone, hardly use them. It is an issue with the vibrating feature on my iPhone, when I have the silent mode on, it vibrates whenever it feels like to.

the phone is insured, I will be in Sydney this week, and Will see if I have the time to check in at the apple store and get this replaced.

Oh I God, You never use IM on your iPhone. You take test to working with IM for feeling vibrating or not.

the vibrations works fine, but just that the touching part is the fucked up issue, do you understand?

No, its not a defect issue. I think you got one of the smartest iPhones out there. No, I am not kidding. Sorry to tell you that.

The iPhone knows that you're a female, with a male body and is expressing it's love to you by vibrating often.

You must really take good care of that iPhone. Don't give it away, it would be like your right hand divorcing your left.

Not at all. I use a blackberry and its secure client is second to none.

And my blackberry is "manly."
I dont care if the blackberry is a 'manly' cause I was a blackberry user. Since you understand that I am a geek, I love my iPhone, more. So get over with it, sir.

Oh, I'm way over it.

BTW, that is the issue. You give the iPhone a bunch of love. You probably stroke the thing until it turns pink on the belly.

Need to take it easy on Virtual Love. ;)

Blackberry sucks. I had used some blackberry devices in several years ago. I dislike tiny keyboard. Type faster on my iPhone than BB.

Backup your iPhone via iTunes, restore it to factory setting from Apple in iTunes. Test if the issue persist, if not, restore backup to your iPhone. Hope it helps.
