Confess To Me!

I am very shy, sensitive and tend to overcompensate. (most folks have no clue or would deny that) I have lots of love to give, believe in telling someone something nice when I see it. (Such as compliments and appreciation). I dont always stick up for myself but I do get really upset for others sake.

My real friends are folks that I dont drop. My long time friend is from first grade. (we tethered our mastodons together) Most others I have known and loved over 20 years.

My friends from work are pretty nice. They come and go. Other clerks and secretaries are pretty nice. I was so surprised...really surprised...when I lost friends with my hearing. Few folks in this town are real friends now. That made me really sad. I dont verbalize much. Boss tends to make fun of me. eh, so what?

Then, there's you guys..... uh boy...

A person like you is called the Punching Bag - gives a lot of love to others but gets a lot of crap in return... and still continue to give a lot of love.. That kind of personality - it takes a brave, strong person to be like this. You are the anchor of everything. Without you in the picture, your groups of close friends will be disbanded.

Keep your head up and grin! :ily:

I've seen my dad cry far more times than he has seen me cry. He's an Italian, so what do you expect. :D

I know.. raaaaaaaaacciiiiiiiiissssssttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!

I am so disappointed! I thought you were Jewish and I felt a bond. :aw:

awww, Jiro, you are so sweet. You been studying with Jillio? You both seem to know just the right thing to say.

I thought it just meant I was a mama.

Hehe, what made you think I was Jewish? :hmm: It couldn't be the fact that I love to barbecue pork ribs and sausages. :D I am quite a mongrel, actually. Mostly Italian and French Sicilian. The rest is English and Scots-Irish. All good drinking cultures. =)

And while we're confessing: I am very sympathetic and empathetic, but I don't think I am too sensitive to what others say about me personally. I like to argue though, and I'm good at it, so I call bullshit out when I see it. I try to live my life with integrity, honesty, and forgiveness, and I always try my best at whatever I do. I've found that if I stick to my principles and am true to myself, I will feel confident and not have regrets. I of course have my bad days as well, but most of the time people see me, I'm a pretty happy dude, unless I'm stressed out about school or teaching.

I am non religious and married to a Catholic so your eating habits didn't stand out. I only based it on your profile picture when leaving you a message.

It's ok, I feel a strong bond to Jiro too, and I am not at all Korean.

That's because I can related. I'm the same. :aw:

Does that mean you're NOT Jewish, Botts? Or just that you would eat some of my tasty, smoked and slow cooked ribs? with homemade barbecue sauce!

Jiro is Korean? Jeeze, and here all along I thought he was a blond Scandinavian:

I dated this guy (real jailbird) whose mother was a Puerto Rican/Catholic and his father was a New Jersey Italian/Jew. He called himself FuManchu the Puerto Rican Italian Jew. :giggle:

He had manic depression and his mother would never give him his meds. (he was declared incompetent at 19). The only time he ever got his meds was when he was in jail, so he would purposely screw up and have to go to jail. The last time he got arrested, it was just after Florida had passed a "3 strikes" law and he got hit with a charge of burglary of an item or items worth less than $50. Since it was arrest #57, he got the mandatory maximum penalty of 15 years. He is due out this next year and is already planning what he can do next to stay in. His mother is still his legal guardian. He tried to get it changed to a court appointed guardian, but they won't do it.

I don't think you get to stop being Jewish, but for the moment I am not eating meat due to Royale's post of mistreatment of pigs.

I am not religious though.

You had a wild youth. :hmm:

You had a wild youth. :hmm:

I even was a pen pal and visited a guy in prison under his brother's name. :giggle:

that was about the same time I got too drunk to walk over a speed bump.

Mixing too many drink, such as "sex on the beach", "rusty nails", and my favorite at the time, a triple shot of Jack Daniels with a beer chaser. Needless to say, I quit drinking and smoking to get married.

Oh, I know the stuff that goes on at meat plants is really bad. I try to only buy meat from local and natural/organic sources. I get a lot of my meat from the Purdue butcher block, which processes animals that have been raised happy and healthy on the Purdue farm.

Now I think I found the place where I have emotions. I really like animals. I don't think I will get over that video.

And I am surprised I actually care so much about anything.

lets see... hmm im not too sensitive.. im more sensitive to make other people sad or something like that. it can actually cause me to get sick.. so i guess that makes me super sensitive to others emotions? but yea... not me so much

Yea, I am a sensitive person, I care and feel too much for people or their situations.

I'm aware that there are some people who are a**holes sometimes and I let the stuff they say roll down my back and strung it off. Before I used to stand up and fight back, but when looking back, it's not all worth it. So, I just let them be a**holes. ;)
