Yes, but sometimes natural consequences are better than the ones a parent can instill in their child. I am sure she learned more from this experience than if we had just grounded her (which also happened). And yes, her record is still clean. Jiro, right, I agree with the juvenile courts, but NOT Dillard's. They only called the cops because we refused to pay their extortion demands. If we had just paid them off, my step-daughter would never have learned her lesson and they would have been rewarded for their extortion.
