I'm sorry if Letterman is a bigger legendary celebrity and a highly-watched figure than Palin + Leno combined
:dunno:

You seem to be very fixated on affair-related issues. My question is a very personal one so you do not have to answer it. Did your wife have an affair?

I think it might be the other way around... he might be sexually frustrated.

Preserving this for the mod.

Nice try Jiro. I know what you're doing and you're reaching for straws through implications.

We're planning for a trip to Hawaii next year to celebrate our long wished for trip and our marriage between for the both of us. And, no, she, nor I, ever had an affair or affairs.

Words of advice. Never involve the discussion of other people family or spouses when it's none of your business to bring it up for the sole purpose to inject doubt about a personal relationship. Stick your noses elsewhere, son.

Notice that I gave an advanced warning and an option for you to not answer my question.

word of advice - follow your own advice and mind your own business too. Letterman's affair is none of your business either. He's a f'ing comedian, for goodness sake. Better stick your nose somewhere else more..... productive, bubba.

btw - I'm not your son and do not call me son. At least my own father does not spout bigotry and racism.

You wanna go there, son?

getting touchy there, Bubba! I strongly advise you to take a time out and tend to your wife or kids.

Let's not lie, Jiro. You did it to sow doubt among readers by making an implicit suggestion. If this was a personal question, you'd PM me instead and not on a public board. The topic thread is about Letterman, not about my personal life.

oh? you're accusing me to sow doubt among readers? that's..... comical. Perhaps you should look back at your own posts for past several weeks.

Letterman made it a public issue by announcing it on national TV.

I swear, the two of you need to be sent to time out, or bed without supper.

Again, you knew it was a personal question. Why ask it over a public forum when the topic was about Letterman and his affairs? Why not PM me and ask that question?

But you didn't and that's the thing, Jiro. You made this into about me when the topic is about Letterman's affairs. Jump the bandwagon instead rather than merely agree to disagree. Family affairs and personal matters of commenters' do not concern anybody in here. If they want to bring it up about their personal affairs, then that is their decisions. Let's not play "Dr Phil" here.

Who, me?

But... mooooooooooom... when will I get supper? You haven't fed us in the last month.

But really, you're right. As always. ;)

again - I have already given you a choice not to answer my personal question. If my question was so personal, then why did you answer my question?

Many of us have told our personal confessions in here. Many of us have asked personal questions to each other in public forum as well.

so why don't we stop playing blaming game, si?

I can see how, too. But I don't go around asking people if their wife or husband had an affair over an open forum when topic does broach on the issue of affairs. I'm not that dumb.

Because you injected a suggestion of possibility and if I didn't answer it'd be seen as something true. I have no choice but to defend my wife's honor away from that suggestion.

That's a very interesting comment... but it reeks of hypocrisy. You are very good at injecting a suggestion of anything that isn't obviously true. We all know that your wife didn't have an affair. This is obviously a ploy to make you see your own dirty action that you have been doing for past several weeks.

now calm down and have a beer or 2. :cool2:

Jay Leno jokes about the Letterman thing.

SETTLE DOWN. IF YOU CAME HERE TONIGHT FOR SEX WITH A TALK SHOW HOST, YOU’VE GOT THE WRONG STUDIO.

WHAT IS GOING ON? FIRST CONAN HITS HIS HEAD, AND THEN SOMEBODY TRIES TO EXTORT MONEY FROM LETTERMAN… I’M SO GLAD I’M OUT OF LATE NIGHT.

I WAS ONCE A VICTIM OF AN EXTORTION PLOT. HOW DO YOU THINK NBC GOT ME TO DO A TEN O’CLOCK SHOW? THAT’S WHY I’M HERE.

THIS GUY WHO WAS TRYING TO BLACKMAIL LETTERMAN WAS A PRODUCER FROM THE SHOW “48 HOURS.” IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE, AT LEAST IT WASN’T A PRODUCER FROM “TO CATCH A PREDATOR.” THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BAD.

I’M HAPPY TO SAY THAT I’VE NEVER HAD A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH ANY OF MY STAFF MEMBERS. (DROP-IN: CUT TO SMITTY/ THROWS DOWN HIS DRUMSTICKS AND STORMS OFF THE STAGE)

I am very very sick of you for being a jackass and moron for remarking your negative responses to any celebrities and other people like us. You are making a big mole out of nothing because the media is making a circus just to make money for labeling people like that. I don't care what Jay Leno said or David Lettermen said because they are just saying to make a point about what happen to Director Roman Polanski's affair which happened over 30 years ago. I just can not believe we are having the media news in 2009, just like 1939 when they have the news about gangsters and labeled celebrities that had gone into depression because the celebrities cherished privacy which means it is none of your business anyway. The media news had been going on for many years since the dime store books about the famous heroes and outlaws been put in and the dime books are not true at all. It is only stories, not real. For heaven's sake, stop this nonsense. Leave them alone.
