You tell me, top 3 fads

Saggy pants would be the first that I would like to see go..

Velcro shoes!! For crying out loud!! Learn to tie your shoes!!!

The Temporary tattoos that kids wear, that are way too grown up for them!![/QUOTE]

That does bother me a little too. I am not sure how I feel about it because I do remember when I was little, we could get those temporary paste on tattoos from the vending machine in which you pluck in 3 quarters and push them in. I remember my friend and I getting 3 or 4 of those and then pretending we were part of a motorcycle gang wearing all these tattoos on our arms. LOL! So, I have mixed feelings about them.

I'm wearing a pair of skinny jeans as we speak. And my shoes are another throwback to the '50's...Chuck Taylor converse sneakers!:giggle:

My daughter loves those converse sneakers.... She already has 3 of them and wants more.

Tongue studs (need I say more?)

Vera Bradley bags (let em go ladies cuz they are fugly)

Wearing flannel pajama pants in public (looks like an escapee from the hospital funny ward)

That is VERY common in my neighborhood and I refuse to sink in their level! :giggle:

I love wearing flannel pj bottoms around the house but I will no step foot outside in them. LOL!

I love converse sneakers but they don't have enough support for my feet.

Lose weight just for narrower feet? No way! Get some bigger shoes.

How does one lose weight for narrower feet?

If you gain or lose weight, it effects your shoe size. After I was pregnant, I had bigger feet until I lost the weight. My shoes were too tight for a while.

They are unbelievably comfortable. I have them in denim green, pink, and purple. Since I don't wear them everyday, they last forever cuz they are well made.

Maybe try an insert for more support?

I know about the pregnancy and swollen feet but never heard of someone losing so much weigh ending up with smaller shoe sizes. :hmm:

Yeah I agree. Not only the designs that they wear. It is where they put them.

I also seen the clip on belly button rings that kids wear now a days. Geez.

My daughter had a 11 year old friend that came over with one on.. My daughter thought it was cool..... I was like WTF!!

I looked at my daughter and told her flat out.. "OH... Hell No!! Don't even think about it!!" She just looked at me and gave me the same WTF look back. but she just did not say it. :giggle:

all of these is NOTHING....

my top 3 that needs to go RIGHT NOW:

1.) High Fructose Corn Syrup and Crystalline Fructose. (CF is in Vitamin Water and other "healthy drinks.")

2.) Fast food chains

3.) Walmart.

Thankfully I live in a town where 3 is taken care of. The other two are being worked on.

I really can't stand to taste the high fructose corn syrup. they taste so terrible. It ruins the flavor of food or drinks big time.

My solution is Mexican coke. I can buy it by the case here.

Yup. I had to give up those "healthy drinks" when I found out I have diabetes. :P
