Well, I don't support them singing to praise the President. Their school is NOT a church!

I still find this disturbin'.

ha ha, i'll take control of all the tv and cable station and impose my communist views to eveyone in the world. They must obey or die to my super nuclear powered deathray of doom!

oh noes! It's empress skepticia of the orwellia galaxy!

Yea, that went so well. Just ask the Katrina refugees that live in my city because they had nothing to return home to.

flashback!

"As a savvy source points out, back in 2006 children from Gulf Coast states serenaded First Lady Laura Bush with a song praising the President, Congress, and Federal Emergency Management Agency for their response to -- of all things -- Hurricane Katrina.

Already saw that yesterday. Yet you don't see kids praising the government but only to the messiah and in approval of *his sight* and using the framework of kids' Jesus song to boot. Boy, talk about putting him up on a pedestal as the annointed one. Question is, were the parents informed of the Obama singalong and did they even get to look at the script beforehand? Any waivers signed? Any prior notifications?

Not likely according to parents already interviewed who knew nothing about this.

Obama's face appeared on my toast this morning. I'm going to sell it on ebay.

Wahh, wahh, wahha. Right-wingers will complain about just about anything in this day and age.

Oh yeah, forget about healthcare and the economy. We can't have people singing praise.

God forbid our kids admire someone like Obama, and that schools use him as an example of hard work, tolerance, intelligence, and accomplishments. Yes, much better that our kids be taught to admire someone like Bernie Madoff.

I means Americans sing about their founding fathers. Does that means Americans are living in the USSR, United States Soviet Republic, now? I means instead of singing about George Washington, it's OBAMA!

Everyone. Get out your guns. We're going a-hunting for some commies.

Anyway, all joking matters aside, you have to admit the choir wasn't done tactfully.

That's why I feel that schools should remain neutral when it comes to teaching children politics because too many people will bitch and whine about it. Causes more unneccessary drama..

Lack of tact seems to be epidemic recently.:giggle: It has hit the opposition particularly hard.

I agree. See how teachers trotted out those kids to sing in praise the almighty one? Not very tact.
