After looking in this thread http://www.alldeaf.com/computers-electronics-gaming/59868-show-off-your-own-built-custom-pc.html

I want to build my own new custom desktop from scratch and I am no expert on hardware. So I wondering if any of you would provide good hardware parts based on your knowledge. I want a fast computer and I am a hardcore gamer, upgradeable hardware, and replacement hardware. I don't want to buy desktop from the store. I already have a LCD 21" monitor. What do I need to start with? Post your comments. :)
Nat, Honestly you can find the gaming hardware such as motherboard, dvd drives, hdd from small computer shop by asian owner. because I notice computer equipments are more discount price..

What are you going to say if they just break down within six months of the purchase? (instead that the $$$ --- lasted to years?)
