Hello everybody. I'm brand new to this forum. I'm not deaf but have a family member who recently has become deaf. I have several questions that I was hoping maybe someone could take a shot at:
The person who has become deaf is my mom. She's in otherwise ok health but she also has vision issues and despite the fact that she has several family visits a day is bored out of her mind. She loves movies so we set her up with a nice TV, Netflix etc. I'm a technology loser but was able to turn on her close captioning. Since the captioning can do live TV I would assume that it's done by voice recognition? Either way, with her vision issues it sure would be nice to change the captioning font on her TV to a size or two larger. I don't seem to be able to do this. Does anybody have a TV that can make the font bigger or does anybody know that the font sizes for all TV's can't be changed?
