Which family? I'm assuming you're talking about the last one. They were killed.... hence a violent revolution.

Yea, the last Imperial family...yea, they were killed but did other members of the govt had to be killed for the govt to change? It just seems that only the family was removed so the revolution could be successful.

I would say - they were killed due to guilt by association (tragic, of course) but like I said - you need to remove the leader and his/her circle (by any means) in order to bring the new government system.

Because you asked for modern history, Jiro. Try to keep up. The same reason Shel answered with the Imperial Family. Either you are forgetting what you asked, or you are just not being clear.

I've already answered Shel's question in my post #46 regarding "modern age." What happened to Hitler and the last Russian Imperial family just further bolstered my post #37 and #38.

so how about answering my question? any historical event in 21st century that backs your statement?

There was a violent revolution - a little over week long, if I recall correctly. But I would say this Nepal Revolution is a very unique one and an interesting one.
