I felt a little bit bored and earlier I was reminiscing with my friend about stuff we did in our childhood. We were laughing so hard!!!!

So I'm curious, what did you guys play with/or do when you were little?

+++++

I still remember when my dad took me to the store and I got my first bike, which happened to be in RED (no, not pink! - despite me being a girl!) I was a tomboy!!!! :D

I LOVED my bike. I barely ever was home spring/summer/autumn ... always up to no good with my friends (whom were all boys!!!)

When I got older (8-9 years) I became more of a girl and played with Barbie, but still my favorite thing actually to do was to hang out in the woods and do god knows what kind of crap with my friends!

Favorite toys: my beloved RED bike, my AWESOME Lego collection!!!! As well as puzzles and of course... books ;)

Incredible Edibles machine. It made creepy foods. It was like the Easy Bake oven.

Oh, I remember that. We had the molds for spiders and worms.

I think I preferred my Easy Bake oven, though.

Then again, I did have those cool skates you attached to your shoes with a skate key. Kept losing the key, though.

Can you explain me what that is exactly? :hmm: I'm curious...

You plugged it in to electricity, mixed up the envelopes with water, poured it into the molds and baked it.

Kind of like gummy worms today but you did it yourself.

Sounds like fun to me (thanks for explaining btw). I think I prefered standing next to grandmère and help her bake cookies.... and eat some of the dough too :giggle:

I did not get roller skates, as they were convinced I would be run over.

But I had double bladed ice skates. I really loved those. When I outgrew them and the gave me normal single blades, I never was any good at it.

We also had a big hill behind our house that ended at the edge of the woods.

All the neighborhood used to come and toboggan, and then my stepmother would make hot chocolate for all.

I did have some good times as a kid!!

Don't remind me of roller skates. I had those that grow *with your feet*

I was driving my dad insane because I sometimes wore them inside the house for fun. My dad didn't think it was fun because we had marble floor ;) LOL!

I always got punished! :D

Those are some new-fangled skates! What I had looked more like these:

Great memories! Everyone wanted to play with my toy!

One of the younger boys in the neighborhood had Hot Wheels cars and the little track that they went in a circle upside down.

We all wanted to play with those. My group included two deaf kids, one boy with extremely thick glasses, and a girl who used to take her false front teeth out and smile at people for a joke.

At any rate, the mother of the little kid with Hot Wheels used to watch us anxiously while we played with her son. (really just his cool toys that our parents did not want to invest in)

I hope its ok to post this here,it is me and my favorite doll.
