A few rules for this thread:
* No flaming posts.
* Be respect their opinions whenever you disagree or not.
* If you make a spoiler post, please use this, [ Spoiler Alert ].

Okayyyyyy..... I just want to inform you that some posts are spoils. And, you are more welcomed to visit here, it's not matter if you are a Twilight fan or not. But you need to know this thread is an anti-Twilight. You are warned, 'kay. :ty:

Anyways... Since annoying friends won't shut up about Twilight. :P Well, I just go ahead to read this crappy Twilight books. Right now, I read one to three chapters...

Okay. My opinion...

[ SPOILER ALERT ]
Twilight One Chapter to Three Chapter said:
Basically, Bella whined how much her life sucks, she chose to move to Washington, and was still whining around about it, I meant, the whole way! Bella missed and loved her mom, but not her dad. She simply said her dad was generous, gentle, and caring father, and of course, he did love her mom. Well, you know, I think she don't like her dad through the father was worked harder for Bella. This idiotic Bella refused to see him as a father because she thought he was a jerk and only called her dad his name. Uh, how nice she is, do you think so? :ugh3:

On the first day of high school... basically, everyone welcomed her, like, "oh my, you are so cool and we love you, Isbella!" Too bad, she thought they were dorks. One boy, Eric, said something like a randomness and Bella only nodded and made sound a bit of not friendly comment. Oh, how typical. =/ I'm, also, not surprise that pretty people didn't really interest about her while Bella liked them. Okay, I think it's pretty poor taste.

Okayyy, I admit I'm a little lost cos I'm not sure where the plot went. I'm not sure what the plot was really about. So, I will keep reading on four to seven chapters. I will post it with my some opinions soon or later.

Discuss away if you wish to! :)

I haven't read the books nor am I planning to, so your "spoilers" weren't so much so after all.

*sigh* I think I'm just too old and jaded to get into the Twilight series. I leave that to the tweeners of the world.

*slinks off to read a stodgy Civil War novel*

I read the first book since everyone was talking about it, but I thought it was so bad I did not want to spoil the fun for the people who liked it. So I just stayed out of the discussion.

LOL, I got my Aunt and Mom both in their mid forties hooked on the books.

You can skip/ignore the spoiler part in a post. You don't have to read spoiler posts. It's not requirement, y'know. :) I did it all the time.

To ADers who posted a comment -- Yeah, it's depend on a person's interest. One of my roommate loves it totally. Another friend is mid-20's of the age and is very fan of the Twilight.

Anyway, I now am at fifth chapter... I don't know when I will post it but with a little spoiler. Of course, I will put a warning with it. :)

so was it really fun and great that everyones' keeping their mouth shut?

im getting really so curious with twilight.. i just saw the book on one of our malls here in our place and the covers made me more curious.. :) hmmmm

I realized some of you guys seemingly assumed me that I 'ruin the surprise'.

Really, no one force you to read spoiler posts. I never said you must to read those. Just because if there are spoiler posts that is not meant you can't discuss about it, you can skip it if you see [SPOILER ALERT] under the comment/quote.

I'm a bit surprise that you are seemingly disappointed for it. Oh, wow. =/ I always thought everyone doing it cos they know how to... =/

Well, I'm sorry. :(

Uh, I allow everyone to say something about the book as long as they respect each other. I just don't like it when (hardcore) Twilight fans get piss off at what people don't like about Twilight. I was attacked by them cos I just simply disagreed... I'd seen it enough. So I thought it would be nice to make a thread for ADers who do not like it or something. :dunno:

EDIT: I realized I said "my friends won't shut up about Twilight" in my first post. Lol, okay, it'd been for a bit more than month that they just keep talking about the popular book. I just got annoying by their same comments. That's why I said it, and I'm sorry if you felt offended by it. Really, I don't expect them to shut up about it. Like, try imagine yourself, someone won't stop talking about or change the same subject and how do you feel? Yeah, there you go. :) But I am tired of being silenced by the fans cos my opinion is different. Oh well...

I don't give a crap about how awesome the movie is. Movie is movie. Everybody will stop talk until the next awesome one come up.

Did you hear about Star Trek?!?! OMOGMGOMGOMGMGM! Move your ass, Twilight! There is new FRICKIN Star Trek in face!

I'm hard-core fan of Twilight, the saga series of Twilight and the movie is awesome! But it's interesting what people have to say about, why they don't like twilight. But everyone have their own opinion of Twilight, it's their right to have their opinion, not everyone has to agree to it.

Hated twilight when I went to the thetres walked outside in 10 minutes and bouyght asnother ticket to see bolt it was much better

I finally broke down and read Twilight because my students kept talking about it and wanted me to answer questions about the book...and as a teacher I felt obligated to read it so I could at least engage in meaningful discussions about the book with the students...which we did end up doing. It's exciting when students who generally do not read much are reading something, especially a novel.

Personally, I found the book to be boring, dry, and unoriginal. Its intended audience are teenagers - and because of the audience, the book was well-written to engage young readers so they can relate to the characters in the book. I love the concept of vampires (I'm actually a closet goth, and would dress up as a vampire if I was in the right mood and going to the right party), but the vampires in this book are too generic.

New Moon...was so bad that I "cheated" by skimming through some of the pages.

I've heard alot about Twilight and the prevailing opinion is "Don't waste your time!" Personally, I have no interest in seeing this AT ALL.

I read 11 chapters now. Hopefully, I will have a time to post my opinions on that. :)
