Bold statements.... They are just announcing their opinions! I rather to gather the facts, and and rely on that.

With out all the political B.S.! :cool2:

Funny, how when we discussed Sarah Palin's abstinence only advise to her daughter and her daughter's pregnancy, we were told we were being unfair because she had the right to advise her daughter any way she chose regarding health issues like sex and birth control. But suddenly, Biden doesn't have the same right. I spell that H I P O C R A C Y.

correct spelling is hypocrisy :)

... So, obviously, there is a risk of contracting the virus on an airplane. Biden simply advised his family to avoid that risk. His choice. Anyone who wants to take that risk is welcome to decide differently.
So you agree with Biden that there is a risk to flying now.

Would you fly?

Nope. And that is my personal decision. You are free to fly if you wish.

There is a risk to flying anytime, Reba.

:rofl2: I am sorry Jillio!

It's okay. I was actually thinking of the Hippocratic Oath when I was typing as people seem to think that medical issues and political issues are one and the same thing. But no matter the misspelling, the point stands. Funny how that was ignored.

Yeah, I'm not surprised at all that you would be very familiar with the word.

that's because I would know the spelling difference between hypocrisy and hippocratic :)

and do you think majority of Americans have computers? and access to internet?

Why, yes, Jiro, they do. And you certainly do. Why don't you use the credible sites? Those that do not have access to computers have access to newpapers and television and radio. CDC and WHO information is everywhere.

No, its because the word applies so easily.
it's ok. calm down. it's not a big deal :)

Nice use of spell check.
spell check? in that case - the spell check would correct hippocratic as Hippocratic in my post but there's no capital "H" in my post, isn't there? :)

let's move on, shall we? :cool2:

I think Jillio mean like "Democracy", but use the "Hipo" with the "cracy" so that make a Hipocracy. Was I right, Jillio?

Their is a risk of contracting any air born illnesses while flying.... Recirculated air..

Never stopped anyone before.

No, because in the way you used it in your sentence, it would not be a capital.:cool2:

Yeah, back to the topic.

Damn!

I think Jiro is in competition, for Botts spot on the grammar, and spell checker on AD!

Hypocrisy is saying one thing and doing another.

Biden has the right to say what he did. No one (except maybe Obama) wants to shut him up. But whatever he says about an issue that can effect all Americans while being interviewed on TV as Vice President of the United States, carries more weight than what a mom advises a daughter in their home. In a free country we can comment on what our leaders say in public.

I believe my post of Biden's remarks is more relevant to this thread than Palin's pregnant daughter.

No, because in the way you used it in your sentence, it would not be a capital.:cool2:
try it in your WORDS document. try it in any online dictionary site. It will prove me right. Hippocratic is a name, not a noun... therefore it's always capitalized. :)

Yeah, back to the topic.
yes please :cool2:

Is your decision not to fly because you believe there is a risk of catching swine flu on a plane?
