I just think it's an unnecessary hassle not to mention another way for Big Brother to know our medical information.

Big Brother, already has our medical information.
However, our medical information is protected by HIPAA laws.
The airlines don't know I'm totally blind or deaf if I don't tell them in advance. They also don't know the name of my doctors or my other medical conditions.
Then how can you expect them to accommodate you then? It is only fair to let them know in advance...
I never said that I don't inform them of my deafblindness. I said they don't know about it because of Big Brother.
Then, Now, with the weight issue - Shouldn't that also be protected by our medical/health information?
If one needs to be accomodated, They need to let them know ahead of time so they can be prepared. Just like showing up for court or Doctors appointments.
Simple: put overweight people in cargo.![]()
Broke your toilet seat!
One of my friends was overweight who sat and broke my sofa leg... that sofa was then sold and bought a new and stronger set to prevent it to re-occur. lol
I can see the logic, but America is getting fatter. I did read some theaters are widening the seats. Maybe airlines will need to do the same.
I think it should.
The next thing you know, the airlines will want to know what kind of meds I carry on the plane and why I take them.
