See my edited post Jiro.
Yes, but Bush was the one who wanted the war in Iraq. If he didn't declare war, 4,000+ soldiers wouldn't have lost their lives.
yes but the terrorists were dealt with under those Administrations with firm doctrines. Clinton Administration did not deal with it firmly thus causing a serious gap in National Security. National Security wasn't on top of his list as well.
majority of them were proud to serve in it. remember - this is voluntary.
My point is that they wouldn't have died in the first place if Bush had not declared war.
So you think their deaths are insignificant just because they volunteered to be in the military?
Jiro,
You and I will have to agree to disagree. We've had this discussion before.

Exactly, but many would rather blame one person (President Bush) than entertain the facts. The Iraq War was NOT declared.
The U.S. Congress jointly authorized the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq.
it's a small price to pay to prevent more Americans from dying. about 3,000 dead Americans from WTC.... what's next? a few more thousand dead Americans?
Like I said..... no terrorist attacks on American soil since 9/11........

i haven't read any of the posts or indeed the main thread, all I'd like to say if bush lives a simpler life then he must have suffered severe brain damage, and yet it's still hard to believe anyone or anything could live a simpler life, which makes it really funny, what country could be so stupid to vote in such a ridiculous waste of space, must be so emabarrassing for you lot to live with![]()

And how many before? If I say that this rock I have prevents cancer and my proof is that I don't have cancer, does that make sense? Of course not. He prevented nothing.

The U.S. Congress jointly authorized the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq.

Congress would not have authorized the war if it had not been for former President Bush indicating that he wanted to declare war (which he did) against Iraq given their "supposed" WMDs. (EPIC FAIL!)
Bush was the one who wanted to fight the war in Iraq because he suspected that they had WMDs. (which he failed to prove)
Again, EPIC FAIL!
Same with UN, UN approved Iraq war as well.
