Georgia: English-Only Driver's Tests

No, that's not what I was asked but I was just simply answer, already here and existing system does offers immigrants to take driver test in different language and get license, it already existing today.

I'm talking about current system, not new system with driver test in english only.

and why are you thinking "individualism"? Do you think each immigrant can afford a rural house and a car? Perhaps 1 out of 20 immigrants has a car and house. That's why they all live together and ride together. Beside - see Babyblue's post. There are already transportation available for migrant workers.

Like I said - I want the driver license to be issued to those with LEGAL IMMIGRATION STATUS and basic English language. However - I'm quite aware that each state is different because some states are much more rural/agricultural than others. They could be exempted from this English requirement however they should not be allowed to drive in metro-area and other states. I think that's much more fair..... for now :)

It still doesn't find any information that match to what you said, enough with it and I already know, it sounds like you insult my intelligence.

No more additional information needed and leave it.

 Those source entirely back my claim. Where did I insult your intelligence? How did you know it doesn't have any information that correlate to what I just said? did you read it already?

Not all farmland has own transportation, not many in my area, they have drive on own or make group to ride on truck bed, they got own place, such as trailers or rent the house with roommates or big families, Mexicans are often to live in big families, that's my experience about seen them. It's up to them to do want with something, it's cheaper to live in rural area than in cities or suburb.

For 2nd paragraph, that's your brief, there's no existing system that meet your brief.

They also provide transportation for children of migrant workers, to attend to day care. While the parents are working. RMCA and East Coast Migrant Centers. They even have a Migrant Clinic here.

What so? It don't make perfect match with your post and I don't want discuss with you so far about this topic, I just already know on my own and no need to explain here.

You are wasting your time to explain, I wouldn't read your post if you make explain that I already know, you make improper to do is insult my intelligence, enough with it.

Many do have Vans and live in groups. Due to they move around the country to where the crops are.

After orange season is done they will either go to Michigan pick apples, or else where. They follow where crops needs to be reaped.

Not every farmland or states are same, they are different when come to offers.

I don't think you understand what Jiro is trying to say. :)

He was not insulting your intelligence. He was trying to explain to you reasonings (or the bigger picture)

No, It's related to #196 only.

It's not about your post or others with farm related.

there you go! you just told me the solution for their transportation issue! and beside... your last sentence - then why are there so many immigrants (with questionable immigration status) in cities/suburb than rural? simple - better pay, better transportation issue, better everything. agricultural sector in America is dying.

For 2nd paragraph, that's your brief, there's no existing system that meet your brief.
in case you didn't know..... it was just a little proposal I just thought of :)

In bold, You think so, it's not really so true.

Agricultural is remain same or getting bigger in southeast states, it don't make dying or whatever.

Or moving to other countries

btw, machines can't handle everything. It can't pick up strawberries from the ground without bruising them.

then why such a massive federal subsidiary fund for farmers? :) clearly - it's dying and shrinking.

Actually it is not. Seen many groves in the southeast being sold to commercial business and sub divisions being built. And many are left to rot. Due to farmers can not afford to pay anyone, to reap or to maintain the groves. Sad to say. My Husband's Father sold all of his groves in the past few years.

I would not exactly say America is dying. But I will say Agriculture is falling. Guess it may be due to economy. Perhaps. Why do you think produce, is so expensive now a days.

No, your saying would be probably in northeast states, not in southeast states, agricultural is remain majority in out of metro or end of metro area, both of urban and rural are rising in numbers but percent is decline because urban got more growth than in rural.

I love my life in rural area and think about get job in agricultural if they pay me so well, you just insult my lifestyle about rural or agricultural are dying up, that's not exactly true.

Is it closer to metro area? If so and it does make sense due sprawl.

then you surely are in for some rude awakening :) Let's hope there's a revival in agricultural sector soon... like Green Agriculture.

I don't care about how your post is rude, I can't make judge if you or me are rude or not.

We have water shortage issue in AL, GA and FL, that where we share water from river and Atlanta has growing so crazy, it make water to become more shortage and wouldn't unable to make more sprawl without need find source for water. There's no sprawl restriction or little in Atlanta metro, they are growing like kingdom.

It would best choice is Chicago metro because they get plenty of water to make more sprawl and growth.

Most agriculture are majority in out of metro or at end of metro, if bad sprawl come in as farmland is relocate to more far but some cities or town have rights to issue an restriction on sprawl to save farmland.

We need have agriculture in our country for more domestic and I don't like idea of import food from other countries.

Interesting that you say that. So you just confirmed that agriculture is falling due to you stating... sprawling. In the Orlando area, is one of the major areas that groves are being bought out along Hwy 27.

So how can agriculture survive if people buys out good useful farm lands, to build houses on top of it??

Soon it will make produce, a delicacy! and pricey!
