I wouldn't worry about how long MVP boot up. It would do the same as my computer boot up. My computer takes a while to boot up so I wouldn't worry about it. I'm not in a hurry and there is plenty of time and not worry about the end of the world.

I saw MVP's boot up and it take around 2-3 minutes. VP200 take 25 seconds with E911 location check.

My macbook boot up in 40 seconds that almost 3 times faster than MVP. :hmm:
 
Maybe that the MVP is very small and the memory has a lot to boot up? It would take a while, si?
 
Yes, the MVP takes a long time to boot up when I tried it out. I was like damn, that's a long time. Remember, it's in beta stages so it runs slow and will possibility become efficent as add new firmware updates.

When Mac OS X 10.0 came out, it was SLOW and crashed a lot. The updates came up with 10.1, 10.2, etc....it became faster and more stable.

So, be patient and give them time. You cannot release a product without people testing for issues before making it final. That is why they made it public for us to report for issues and they will update it every month with new features and fixes. They even mentioned it IS a beta, so be happy with what you got and you didn't pay anything for it.

It is becuase they have a very good firmware. MVP will be in better firmware similar to VP-200.. like G-Tree, mentioned, it is in BETA, they want a lot of feedbacks so they can fix the issues and have it imported into all devices. It occurs the same with Viable VPADs
 
Hey, I am sure many of you remembered the hype of Ojo and SnapVRS.. Alot people kept saying alot positives about Ojo.


Now what really happened to all the hype, and popularity?

Her carelessness is one thing. Using MVP in bathroom is a NO NO. Why would she put it near water and it's not waterproof. Trying to reach AAA using MVP where no signal are there. It's not a Cellular device, it's a Wifi device!! So MPV isn't blamed, It's her. Epic Failed!!

When I was at Deaf Expo in KC MO. I was at the HOVRS booth looking into MVP. The deaf guy was asking rep about using MVP in car. I told him that it's not safe using it in car while driving. He know that :lol: Rep explained that Wifi hotspot is limited range tho. Then I "barged" in and told him that if using in car and if there accident, the viewer would see the whole scene of accident :rofl: He laughed.


That was rather interesting that deafie don't read instruction before using it.

Of course all VP equiptment are not waterproof. I'm sure that you'll hear deafie left it too close to pool, lake, ect and oops!! they dropped or splashed over the MVP. They're screwed!!

I can't get wifi AT ALL on my MVP, and I consider myself to be pretty tech savvy. I obviously got a lemon :\ I'm thinking about returning it.

I know this is WiFi device but not a cellular wireless. Why did the HOVRS say everywhere you go and you can use the MVP!

Expect as picture as national wide that provide WIFI...

About the video, it a example; what it could happen to us. Even, I know sometime people accident drop the pager in toilet and the toilet automatic sense that you are done and flush on own! :eek3: Say bye to pager...

Similar to proof that MVP that more prevent-able that can't fit that hole in toilet expect the hipo toilet may fit because its purple and may same color...:roll:

Anyway...

I have seen the video quality. I wasn't happy!

The only thing is that if you can hack MVP's wireless adapter and add foot long antenna so it can reach 1,400 ft radius :rofl:

Or add wifi amplifier in addition to antenna to draw in more signals.

To learn about USB Wireless adapter hack. You can google search. There are several site that you can figure out it's similiar how you hack MVP.

So that you can have use MPV ALMOST as long as you are in the city.

ha ha she is so SILLY. i didnt pay attention to either HOVR or SVR. but she's hilarious for sure.
