Yeah, if anything, that activity/endeavor should be in the private sector.

Mrs. Reagan always supported it, especially when President Reagan was suffering from Alzheimers so badly.

This topic is one that creates a huge debate among conservatives, just as much of a debate as abortion.

So...you are saying that you do not want to help find a cure to diseases such as cancer and all?

I think its better paying tax dollars to stem cell research than to a woman who have around 14 kids overall.

Stem Cell is not the purpose of having a clone by itself.

The purpose of Stem Cells applies to serving as a sort of repair system for the body, they can theoretically divide without limit to replenish other cells as long as the person or animal is still alive. When a stem cell divides, each new cell has the potential to either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell.

So, in other words - It is a research as to how these medical community can look or give an insight into this in order to find cures for various diseases, cancers, so and on. The goal is not to create cloned human beings, but rather to harvest stem cells that can be used to study human development and to potentially treat disease.

By with that - I'm in moderation of supporting for stem cell research for the purpose of finding cures; not for why it is used to make a clone.

No, I did not say that.

I don't want to spend tax dollars for impregnating single women either.

I read somewhere from my location newspaper that said, they will spend $1.4 million in 4 years. It doesn't seem that much.
