 For me, to be the most loving, caring and forgiving person on the planet. To be of service or help to anyone I can, is my meaning of life.

What's yours?

If a person with multiple personalities threatens suicide, is that a hostage situation ?

I have noticed that you used the word "youse" several times on AllDeaf....are you from New York?

Since you live on the Northeast coast of Florida. How has the Fishing been up there?

So now I am curious. Are you not deaf? How did you get interested if you are not?
 No, Bottesini, I am not DEAF. I am a hearie and a sightie. Although I have been told that the reason I get along so well with children who are DEAF is because they can't hear and I don't listen. :giggle:

Reader's Digest Condensed Short Version of how I got interested in the DEAF:

BLINDness (hereditery) runs in my family. So, I grew up with the BLIND. I was BLIND myself for more than three years, after an incident. Many good doctors, nurses and hospitals restored my eyesight. Yes, I wear trifocal eye glasses and I have my computer set to see extra large font, however, I am not BLIND. One day I had lunch with a Teacher of children who are BLIND & DEAF. She knew me from all the BLIND functions/activities/summer camps. She asked me to learn ASL and be a friend of the DEAF. So, I learned ASL, attended all DEAF activities and functions for many years now and became a friend of the DEAF.

The fishing has been Great! Fantastic! Awesome! here. I love it sooooooo! I'm spoiled with the excellent catching. Although I am not going fishing today and tomorrow, we have a cold front here. Me, being the delicate hot house flower warm weather fisherman I am, I'll wait. :giggle:

New Yorkers usually say "youse" which means "you all". :)
 Exactly Brian.

New Yorkers have other words they use quite often, which I will not repeat here, you can see and hear them while they drive their taxi cabs in the city,
or at a Mets/Giants/Rangers/Yankees/Jets/Knicks/Devils game . :laugh2:
