Youngblood, which will be pretty familiar to comicbook fans who read those back in the 1990s. Brett Ratner, who directed the Rush Hour trilogy and X-men 3 wanted to do a comicbook based film on Youngblood, which was said by comicbook fans that it was proably one of the worst. comicbooks. EVER.

I guess in some ways I would have to agree...I didnt really read Youngblood, but those characters made afew appearances in other comics that I read such as Savage Dragon and Spawn. I have to admit some of those characters are pretty corny...such as Badrock is pretty corny as well.

However...I really do like the Savage Dragon comics and I'm very much hoping someone would make that into a movie someday IF they get it right! lol but brett ratner? ppplleeaaasseee...he's good with comedy movies such as Rush Hour but action movies such as X-men 3? That third movie was a major disappointment to fans thanks to him. and not too long ago, he wanted to make a movie based on a videogame and you know what that is?

Guitar Hero. Good thing Activision refused to let him do anything with their games.

I assume he's proably one of the worst directors in hollywood history, seriously.

Ratner should find better things to do than just filming utter shit movies.

Notice that black guy with the skull paint on his face? Yep...that's Chapel, who killed Al Simmons aka Spawn in a war since he was paid by Jason Wayne to kill him. Al Simmons who is now Spawn came back from the dead and tracked him down and put the "skull" mark on his face as an unpleasant memory for taking his life away.

I used to collect Savage Dragon comic books.

I think I have one of those special edition where Savage Dragon meets Mars Attack! (yep, like the movie). He ended up having his body modified and the woman that he's always with, had her body modified with super-sized boobs.

*chuckles* I always thought of Savage Dragon as not just an action packed thriller comicbook but more of an comicbook filled with priceless humor in so many ways. :laugh2:

Let Brett direct the film. Maybe it'll prevent him from directing (and thereby) screwing up any future X-Men sequels.

Sorry, I went a bit OT.

lol due to the reviews of X-men 3, I am VERY sure Hollywood will not allow him to direct another X-men movie ever in his life time.

That would be way over my dead body.

Althou I do find it odd that they let Sam Raimi direct another spider-man movie after he fucked up spider-man 3...hmmm maybe he bribed them or something.

Spiderman 3...ack! I'd forgotten all about that one. I think I repressed the memory. It was bad on so many levels...:ugh:

lol totally.

Spider-man 2 was proably the best spider-man movie I ever seen in superhero movies history. :P

I actually had a few issues of Young Blood.

As far as Savage Dragon, he appears in a lot of Image comics. Specifically Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) comics. I.E. I had a Brit graphic novel and Save Dragon appears in it. Also, I just looked online and apparently he appears in Invincible comics as well, which is another Robert Kirkman project. I've not read any of those but I've read over 50 isuses of Walking Dead :)
