Mine was simple, and no Americans can copy mine since it is written in Russian. :-P
I used to do that. Then when I switched to signing my name in Arabic my dad told me that ignorant people would probably think I'm a terrorist. So I went back to Russian. <laugh> Somehow my Russian handwriting is better than my English handwriting. Something about Cyrillic alphabet just makes my motions more relaxed.
Of course now my signature is awful because I can have someone point to the X of the signature line but I can never get it right. So I usually just chicken scratch on the receipt. "There you go. There's my signature." <grin>
