Does anyone like to collect coins?

I do! I've been collecting various coins. I'm really looking forward to get the latest coin that will be coming in the mail over this weekend. The one I'm getting is a 1939 Nazi Coin from the 3rd Reich.

That's cool. I don't have a coin collection. :( Tho, I do have a huge coin, I think it's a half dollar coin, not sure.

sorry! i don't like coins. it's dirty LOL. but damn... Nazi coin? that's cool! I actually have several Saddam Hussein currency bills. interested??

You're serious? You have these Saddam Hussein currency bills? How did you get your hands on it?

I collect old coins. Most are just US coins going back to about 1900 that I found in change.

I have some Walking Liberty coins.

My best coin is a silver coin from the reign of Elizbeth I in the 1500's. My daughter gave it to me for Christmas one year.

my friend bought it from ebay. He asked me to split in 50-50 cuz he was broke. so I shrugged and agreed to it. I didn't really care for it but it's still in my file. you want it?

Wow! That's definitely an antique coin! You're lucky to have it. Can you please post a picture of it? I'd love to see it. :D

It is a 1571 threepence. My camera was not taking a good enough picture for detail, so I had to get an image from Google, but this is what my coin is like.

I don't really know.

I got some of them when I worked at my local video rental store. Since I was manager, I was responsible for counting money earned at the end of each shift. If I came across a coin that I wanted, I simply traded my own money for it.

For instance, I came across a silver quarter. I simply took a regular quarter out of my pocket and switched it with the silver quarter.

Some of the money were from change that I got when I bought something in cash.

Some of these coins look like American coins from a distance. :)

Ahh, I see. Either way, You're lucky you got your hands on some of these rare coins. Now, I'm envious of you, already! :P

:giggle:

I have a coin collection on the shelf above my dryer. I find coins all the time when washing clothes. :dunno: how much they are worth!

But I do have a huge collection!
