I just went outside and fed my babies! (Two ponies and Horse)

I am wearing a ton of clothes!


1 fleece ear wrap

1 cotton scarf

1 fleece hat

1 turtleneck

1 long sweatshirt

1 thermal pant

1 jean

1 socks

1 thermal socks

1 Winter Boots

1 Glove

1 Winter coat

Here 6 temps coldest...

Holy Moly thats cold. I bet your babies love you for going out there to feed them. It's cold here too and snowing. I am warm but my toes are numb.
 
Very interesting!!!

My monster truck was in the garage. I turn on and looked at temps its was 30 then drove out of garage. Temps 30 went down to 4 temps. :eek:

i pull hood over my hat and wore my gloves to take my dog out of course he wore coat so cold it was -2 at my place when we went out it was not windy thank god but tomorrow it will be windy oh crap
 
Hey, thats is cold, Last week we had unusual freezing temps lowest was -10, this is england who's known for mild weather and rain! the ground was frozen solid, no water as the pipes froze, ice everywhere, crap gritter. Had to drive very slow to work/horses.

I was wearing

PJ's (too cold to put cold clothes on!)
Sweater
Jeans
Fleece jacket
Another fleece jacket
Waterproof coat
Over trousers
2 socks

hat, gloves

and my horse had 3 rugs on! He was clipped though, he was warm and toasty!
 
when i took my guide dog tigger outside this morning, the temperature was -7.

now temperatures are hovering in the single digits with below zero windchill.

Yeah, It's getting cold here too. Right now it's at 11 degrees and with the wind chills - it's at 1. The weather alert noted that by tonight, this area will be going under an Winter Chill Advisory.

An arctic high pressure will continue to push into the region. This will bring the coldest temperatures to the region since 2004. These cold temperatures and light northwest winds will combine to create wind chill readings down To -10 degrees overnight.

Wow! That's a lots of clothes you have on, Phillips. I ain't wearing all that today here. :eek3: Today (friday) forecast is 104 degree Fahrenheit and am wearing a short and a tanktop right now. :lol:

i just finished taking tigger outside and literally froze my you-know-what off. thank goodness this will be the last winter i spend in wisconsin.

arizona, here i come! :D
 
Unvelievably cold today but NOTHING compared to what people in the north midwest are experiencing...that's scary cold!
 
by the way, temperatures are expected to warm up to 25 degrees by saturday. that's going to feel like a heatwave! :giggle:
