Does it ever happen to you?

Let me tell you about mine;

Before, I have my daughter. I was normal girl, dont ever wear the make up, wear normal clothes, nothing that special about myself. Just being myself, wearing that I feel like to even I'm sort of overweight. NO Men wants me at all, they keeps ingore me and don't give me anything that is interesting. Compare to my best friend; before she have her son. She's VERY beautiful girl, wears girly clothes, make up, everything like that. ALL of MEN runs after her and leaving their drool in the trail over her. They goes crazy about her because she's hot to their own eyes.

But right now, she have her son and I have daughter. We are SAME from before, nothing changes. But right now, ALL of men runs after me instead of her. Even, when we goes to the store, all of men will walk up to me and talking to me about me and my daughter, NOTHING or even not one guy goes to her. I was puzzled about that. I don't know why...

Honestly, we do have a boyfriend on our own. I just don't understand why they goes to me instead of her, even my own best friend are VERY beautiful and THINNER than I am...?
 
Guess, personality out shines looks.

In order to have outer beauty you must have inner beauty.

You don't have to impress people with make up and dress up clothes. So maybe that is the case.
 
The joy that you have found as a mother has evidently made you beautiful. People can see the love and the joy you feel, and it makes you very beautiful to them.
 
Maybe your glowing attracts men, it should make you feel good about yourself. :)
 
Yea it happened to me but I enjoyed it so I can make more friend. Nothing wrong with that.
 
Maybe you are truly happy, and having your daughter has added more meaning to your own life. That happiness shows to other people, including men. I'd enjoy the attention.

That is true of what you are saying, Babyblue. Another thing is WhisperHorse might feel positive showing glowing because she has a boyfriend and a daughter that she is very happy with her life. The fact is that people change like your friend even if she remain the same as before. :hmm:
