30 days ban felt like 30 minutes ban

Why'd you get a 42" Plasma? Did you know that plasma tvs can cause burn-ins?

And transparent LCD tech is getting developed/climbing itself up into mainstream pretty soon.
 
what is meant by a "burn-in?" the 32 inch HDTV i just purchased is an LCD. i didn't see (no pun intended) any reason to purchase a plasma tv since i'm totally blind.
 
He's talking about Plasma tv however if you leave something on for a long time, same color and shape, It can leave a "residue" there where it's there all the time, no matter if tv is on or off. It can and has happened on monitors and tv's. Mostly Monitors cause it would stay same for hours if nobody turns it off or leaves it alone.

Yep, he beat me to the punch.

Its like that kettle you left on high gas for 10 hours past when you were supposed to turn it off... Picture a nice burn right there that is next to irrevocable from home repairs.
